New Black Ops 3 Trailer Shows Us the World After Black Ops 2
Codemasters Announces Overlord Fellowship of Evil
Codemasters has announced Overlord: Fellowship of Evil. This time, following the death of the previous Overlord, players will take on the role of one of the four Netherghūls; undead servants of the dark arts hell-bent on reclaiming a world swallowed by the forces of good. It’ll also feature local and online co-op. In keeping with the evil theme of the Overlord series, we’re told there will be ways in which players can shaft their teammates.Although varying from the original Overlord formula, Fellowship of Evil is staying true to its roots. Marc Silk reprises his role of Gnarl, the wise old minion master, and heading up the writing side of things is the insanely talented Rhianna Pratchett, who penned the original scripts for both Overlord and Overlord 2.“Finally the secret dark rituals have paid off!” says Pratchett. “I’m often asked if there’ll be another Overlord game, so it’s wonderful to be back in black helping to create a new carnage-filled evil ride. This is one game franchise which has been as fun to develop as it is to play, and Fellowship of Evil is no exception. And don’t worry, there will be sheepies. We have plans for them. Oh yes!”
Codemasters executive producer Rob Elser mirrored Pratchett’s excitement, saying: “We really wanted to do something that would allow us be evil alongside our friends, instead of the normal heroics in every other game. The idea of playing as a team of bad guys commanding Minions to do our utmost bidding, while also causing chaos for each other, just really made us smile. And as you know, an Overlord game never takes itself too seriously.”
Overlord: Fellowship of Evil is due for release digitally during 2015 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Bungie is Ditching Destiny Commendations, Dates Next Iron Banner
Bungie will be phasing out Commendations along with the other changes to progression economy that are rolling out with Update 1.2.0 when the House of Wolves expansion hits.
Commendations are special currencies earned through levelling up Vanguard Commendation or Crucible ranks that are used to buy new weapons or gear on occasion.
“Essentially, they’re going away,” Bungie’s Community Manager David Dague writes in the Weekly Update. “You’ll no longer need them to acquire new weapons or gear. If you have a bunch of them stockpiled, you can burn them for reputation. Gaining reputation will speed you toward your next promotion, thus earning you another reward package. To prosper and equip yourself with new stuff, just earn Marks!”
According to the recent post, the next Iron Banner hits off at 10:00 a.m. PT on Tuesday, April 28. It was postponed so Bungie could monitor “the impact that Update 1.1.2 would have on the Crucible.” Players will have the chance to earn some new class Helms from Lord Saladin.
Telltale Games and Marvel Partner for Console Game in 2017
Marvel Games has partnered with Telltale Games for a future console and PC series coming in 2017.”We’ve been busy,” Executive Producer Mike Jones said before announcing the partnership. “It takes a long time to find the right partner. We have one special game we’re excited about.”
Jones celebrated the quality of Telltale’s narrative, which meets Marvel’s standards for storytelling. Marvel’s new games strive for authenticity above all else — the correct powers for the right heroes wearing the proper costumes. “Sexy” games are important to Marvel Games, too. “If it doesn’t turn heads, if it doesn’t get you excited to talk with your friends, it’s not a Marvel game. It has to command attention,” Jones explained, citing existing games like Spider-Man Unlimited and Contest of Champions on mobile as defining examples.
Telltale’s previous efforts, including The Walking Dead, Tales From the Borderlands, and The Wolf Among Us, all feature striking and beautiful comic book-style art. Telltale released the following image via the Telltale Blog. “Announced this evening in San Francisco, we’re excited to reveal an all-new partnership with the incredible team at Marvel Entertainment,” the developer wrote. “We’ll be teaming up on the development of an upcoming Telltale game series project set to premiere in 2017!”

Capcom has filed a trademark for what appears to be a social gaming hub for fighting games. The trademark files earlier this month was for “Capcom Fighters Network,” reports EventHubs. The description is wide-ranging enough that it could touch on a few different functions, all revolving around a fighting game hub.One part of the trademark covers uploading, posting, tagging, blogging, and sharing data like images and information, while the second part entails pulling up friends ranks, tournament sign-ups, and online surveys. Altogether it sounds like a social network revolving around fighting games, as Capcom gears up for the release of Street Fighter 5.
