Final Fantasy 15: Episode Duscae Demo Getting an Update
Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae is set to get a patch designed to enhance the combat system and fix a number of issues.
Siliconera reports version 2.0 will be available sometime between mid and late May, and will enhance the Active Cross Battle system, fix problems with the camera and targeting and also add new moves, such as joint attacks, a possible dodge roll and changing the range of Noctis’ weapon.
As regards other possible features the game may get, director Hajime Tabata suggests you may be able to do quests in which you’re paired with one or two other characters, provoking different conversations. When the party regroups at the night’s camp, different characters may bring back different items. Another big fix Square hopes to tackle is the frame rate, which has been patchy thus far and experienced dips during combat. Tabata hopes to roll this out for Episode Duscae version 2.0 but, if it isn’t ready in time, it’ll come down the line.

Koji Igarashi Teases a Spiritual Successor to Castlevania
Koji Igarashi of the Castlevania series may be teasing a new spiritual successor to the vampire-hunting classics.
Suspicions were initially raised at PAX 2014, when a mysterious flyer depicting a number of runes and the message “There Will be Blood” was handed out at Keiji Inafune’s panel for Mighty No. 9.
NeoGAF users deciphered a message from the runes, which allegedly reads “What a wonderful night to have a KS.”
Fans believe the “KS” to mean Kickstarter, as in a soon-to-be-launched Kickstarter campaign.
Additionally, a teaser site recently went live, depicting a pixelated Igarashi lookalike asking the visitor to choose between a sword or a whip. Once you’ve voiced your opinion the first time, he invites you to return and vote again. The hashtag #igavania can be found at the bottom of the page.
Being that swords and whips are key staples of the Castlevania franchise, many fans point to this as proof of an impending Kickstarter or announcement regarding a spiritual successor.
Igarashi left Castlevania publisher Konami in March 2014. When asked his reasons for leaving, Igarashi said “I’ve decided to break out on my own to have the freedom to make the kind of games I really want to make — the same kind I think fans of my past games want as well.”
May is a big month for Castlevania, as the original game released in the US in May 1987.

Titanfall 2’s Release Window Revealed
Though a sequel to Titanfall was officially confirmed in March this year, the game still has no official name according to Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella: “I guess EA announced a sequel, so I could play coy and pretend I don’t know anything about it, or… yeah. So we’re working on a sequel. No official name yet, but we’re working on that. That’s the main focus but we’re starting up a second team and doing some smaller stuff too. Small, exploratory, taking it slow! It’ll be multiplatform.”
EA also confirmed that Mirror’s Edge’s release date is sometime in Q4 2016.
