The Crew Is Getting an Open Beta on PS4 and Xbox One
With all these high profule releases having launch problems, its nice to see somebody prepare for release with an open beta.
Ubisoft has unveiled that an open beta is coming for The Crew on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from November 25 to 27.
The Crew open beta will feature the entire United States, though only two of the five regions will offer challenges: the Midwest and East Coast. Players also can race against others competitively in those two regions. As for customization, the street and dirt spec classes will be available.

Free Shadow of Mordor DLC Incoming
The Power of Defiance bundle adds a new skin, challenge mode, and an epic rune.
The new skin casts players as Lithariel, the warrior commander of the Tribesmen of Nurn, who is set to lead the battle against the Dark Lord’s army. For those unfamiliar, Lithariel is the daughter of Lady Marwen, the Queen of Nurn.
The new challenge mode is called Test of Defiance, and sees you face Sauron’s Warchiefs, only without your trusty Wraith abilities or any means to escape death in a pinch.
As for the epic rune – Defiant to the End – players are granted an extra ‘Last Chance’ to re-enter the fray should they fall in combat.
The free DLC is available today via a content update for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam.

HBO Go App Arrives on Xbox One

The app features both Kinect voice and gesture control, with a range of shows on offer including True Detective, Game of Thrones and Girls, along with older series like Entourage and The Sopranos.

Battlefield 5 Will Once Again be Military-Themed
In other news, the sky is blue…
Despite the upcoming Battlefield Hardline focusing on cops-and-robbers, Battlefield 5 will once again see us in a military setting.
That’s according to EA CFO Blake Jorgensen, who made the comment at the 2014 UBS Global Technology Conference (via Gamespot), where he revealed he’s already seen the game and thinks it’s a “fun, new Battlefield.”
“That will be a return to a Battlefield military-style game; more to come on that,” he said.
